Carolina Flórez-Cerchiaro is a Colombian author of genre bending speculative fiction. Her debut gothic horror novel BOCHICA is coming out in summer 2025 from Atria/Primero Sueño Press. She also has a short story coming out in GHOSTS OF WHERE WE ARE FROM, a horror anthology edited by Bram Stoker award winning author Cynthia Pelayo, featuring the top Latinx authors in the genre, coming out from Atria/Primero Sueño Press.

Her writing is heavily inspired by her heritage, her love of history, horror, and the kind of drama that only Latin American telenovelas know how to deliver.
